A well known Ghana based s*x trafficker arrested in Anambra state... See photos

A well known  Ghana-based s*x trafficker, Amaka Adiri by name,  has been arrested in Anambra State.
The suspect was caught on Sunday  while trying to take two females to Ghana for prostitution.

The names of her victims who hail from Abia State were given as Gold Ebube Nwogazi and Chidera Paul.
It was learnt that the suspect had asked the victims to pay her N600,000 each in three months within the period  of their agreement in Ghana before they would be  freed.
Our Correspondent learnt that the entire proposition went away  when one of the victims changed her mind because of what she considered as “unconscionable conditions” given to her by the suspect.
A source who did not want to be named said it was when the disagreement ensued that the Police were brought into the matter.
“The woman forcefully wanted to take her to Ghana against her conscience; but she refused, describing the conditions she was given as ‘unconscionable.’
“That was when the whole matter was made a Police case,” the source stated.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the story to our correspondent.
The PPRO said the case was under investigation , after which the suspect would be charged to court.
Mohammed said, “Following intelligence report, Police detectives attached to Oyi Division arrested one Amaka Adiri.
“The suspect allegedly threatened one Gold Ebube Nwogazi, aged 21 years, of Ugwunabo LGA of Abia State and seized her bag at Awkuzu in Anambra State for refusing to follow her to Ghana for prostitution.
“Another victim, one Chidera Paul of Umuoba village, Isiala Ngwa in Abia State, was also liberated from the suspect.
“Preliminary investigations so far revealed that the victims were to pay the sum of N600,000 each to the suspect in three months’ time while in Ghana to regain their freedom.”
Mohammed added, “Members of the public are advised to be wary of such syndicates who go about deceiving innocent girls under false pretence of securing greener pastures for them abroad, when,in fact, they are to be trafficked and lured into sex slavery.”
