Osinbajo has not resigned from his position - nitegist

A political group has urged Nigerians to ignore the fake news that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has resigned from his position.

The Initiative to Save Democracy (ISD) described the unscrupulous rumour as the desperation of the Peoples Democratic Party to stir unnecessary controversy in the South West of Nigeria.

President of ISD, Sunday JamesAkinloye, urged Nigeriansespecially Yorubas toshunallfakenews emanatingfromthe PDP. “This iscompletely laughable. Howcan some peopleconcocta story thatis entirely false, sendingthousands of Nigerians into frenzy overnothing?
“This shows thatthe PDP is desperateand theywill stopatnothingtolaytheirhands onNigeria’s treasury but theirplans willnot work, infact, itis dead on arrival.

AkinloyestressedthatNigerians must bewaryof anystoryfrom PDP because they are the masters of fakenews. “They claimed in 2015thatPresident Muhammadu Buhariwas goingto IslamizeNigeria once heisvotedinbut we foundthatthatis a lie.
“They claimedhewas Jubril from Sudan and they even claimedthathe could notstandorcampaign for himself but the manhasproven themwrong overand over again.

“The PDP isadestructive party and nothinggood can comeoutof them. Thefoundation of PDP is faulty and the only thingthey know is propaganda and lieseven tothe detrimentof the lives of many Nigerians.
AkinloyeurgedNigerianstoensure thatthe PDP is permanently shut outfrom Nigeria’s treasury for the progress and good of the country.
“They have said it, theywant toenrichthemselves and their friends, and they do notcareaboutthe commonmanonthe street.

“They say theywant tocomeand share the money, wemust notallowthattohappen. We must be steadfastin the slowand steady path wehave embarkedupon.
Quotingthe Bible, Akinloye saidNigerians must understandthatwhat we sow, iswhat we willreap. “If wesow Atiku and his corruption, then we will reaphardship fromthis evilseed. Wemust be careful what we wishfor.

He urged Nigerians todisregardthe UK, USand EU, stressing thattheyareonlyafter their selfish interests. “Before President Buhari cameon board allourlooted monieswere stashedinbanksinthe UK, USand EU.

“Since PresidentBuhariwas elected notonly have westopped laundering ourmoniestothese countries, we are demanding thatthey return the money with them.

“They arenothappy thatNigeria is on the path to prosperity, they want us to perpetually beunder themaskingfor grantsand loans.
